An easy dinner for a lazy summer night! Delicious all on its own or as a low carb bowl! Butter, lemons, garlic and spices come together to make a delicious sauce with shredded chicken….this is great over rice with green onions or over pasta with a bit of parmesan. Versatile enough to please any picky eater.
Thaw overnight in Refrigerator. Dump contents of bag into crockpot. Add 1 cup, 1.5 cups, or 2.5 cups water depending on the size of meal you are preparing. Cook on low 4-5 hours, high 2-3 hours. You can shred the chicken and return to the crock pot and serve OR scoop whole pieces. I prefer to shred the chicken return it to the sauce and let it rest before serving over pasta.
